Hi. You can type your post immediately on blogger then save it on blogger. On the post screen, where you type your articles, you can click the save button on the lower part of the screen, just beside the publish button. Once you clicked that, it is automatically saved in blogger. You have the option to publish it immediately or publish it some other time.
About the counter, there are lots of free counters in the net. You can google it and choose whatever you like. Mine is brave net. It's free. Just sign up and you'll get a code and you just paste it on your blog wherever you want it to be.
