LaDainian Tomlinson the San Diego Chargers Superstar Football Player, or is he?

LaDainian Tomlinson, he said he couldn't wait for another shot at the Patriots. He kept running his mouth. He kept blaming everyone else. And then it happened, the big day had arrived, the rematch, and what do you know, the superstar was hiding on the sidelines behind his cute tinted-masked helmet. This was the biggest game of any professional football players life, the chance to go to the Superbowl. So, instead of leaving everything out on the field, like most supposed superstars, LT was standing on the sidelines all geared up and talking to no one. Basically, a little child put in a corner by his parents.

Now, let me get this correct. You (LaDainian Tomlinson) are supposed to be the go to guy, according to you, but, you decide that your sprained MCL hurts too bad to try to help your TEAM. O.K. That is fine, but no, you stand on the sideline and pout like a little child instead of cheering on your teammates. Now, wouldn't that sound like something a true leader, superstar, or idol would do?

The MCL. If that is true, then fine, but why wouldn't you at least act like you want your team to win because then you have another two weeks to rehab and play in the Superbowl? Sounds like a selfish, fake, spoiled, wannabe superstar. You can never be in a superstar category, because those guys would have played, or been a leader.

I agree with Deon Sanders ("big time players play in big time games") and the rest who criticise LT and question his toughness. Heck, Phillip Rivers, yes that Rivers that LT likes to blame everything on, played on a scoped knee. That is a leader, warrior, a superstar. Remember the sideline episode when Rivers was having a bad game and LT got up and walked away from him when he sat down on the bench just like a Jr. high love fight. A true superstar would have said something to his quarterback to try and get his spirits up, but not LaDainian Tomlinson, he is too worried about LT.
