Bob Knight 900 WINS!!!!

Love him or hate him, he has accomplished a tremendous feat in the coaching ranks. 900 wins is amazing at any level, let alone, Division I basketball. And to do this without cheating and sub-par talent puts the icing on the cake. If you believe Knight has had the talent level of North Carolina, Duke, Ohio State, etc.. your crazy. Even his Indiana teams were not loaded with high school all-Americans, but they were teams and still are at Texas Tech.

That's where I think he is the best coach no matter what level, no matter what sport. His players graduate, stay out of trouble, and most of all, they are successful in life. All we as the public hear about are all of the negatives about coaches, especially Knight. This man does more positives that far out way the negatives. Has he done some stupid things? Yes!, but haven't we all? Every coach in the world has,but not every coach is under the microscope to screw up like Knight.

I think it is time we focus on the positives that people do instead of all the negatives. Especially coaches! Knight: fun loving grandparent, husband, dad, cares deeply for current and former players (just ask them), successful, disciplinarian, etc.... I could on and on.

Disciplinarian! Does our country need more of this or what? You ever think that that is probably why his teams win, his players graduate, his players become successful people???? If you think not, then you are crazy. Our world is becoming soft, because parents do not want to punish little teddy because it might hurt his feelings or self-esteem. How the hell else do our children learn to be strong without being knocked down and learn to get back up? I'll tell you................ people like coach Bob Knight!
